Current Affiliation:
(since 2011)
Professor of Experimental Particle Physics
Institute of Experimental Particle Physics (ETP)
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)
Current Projects:
The CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider
  • Data analysis: precision measurements and searches for new physics (e.g. dark-matter candidates) with Higgs bosons and top quarks, recently: search for associated ttH production in H->bb decays.
  • Upgrade of the CMS tracking detectors: pixel detector (Phase I) and outer tracker (Phase II)
